Wilfred Clarance Oats Matching Comments:
Mike McKay: I'm am trying to find out if this is the Wifred Oats that owned Treheveras Farm. My father John McKay was evacuated to Treheveras Farm in 1940 and he remembers the owner name as
Wilfred Oats. Is this the same Wilfred?
Sandra Oates Heyward: Hi Mike McKay, the Wilfred Oates of Treheveras farm was my late fathers uncle. Because of a family split I know very little about him. He had one daughter Barbara. His father William John Oates farmed Carvinack next door to Treheveras.
